Rae de Lisle is one of New Zealand’s most important and influential piano teachers.

She’s currently Associate Professor of Piano at the University of Auckland, and her students have included John Chen, Modi Deng and Jason Bae.
Rae is also a teacher of teachers, and an expert in the treatment of performance related injuries.
Her colleague Michael Houstoun credits her as being a vital factor in his return to two-handed playing.
