New Ohakea hangar one of NZDF's biggest building projects

A massive new plane hangar at Ohakea Air Base is one of the largest and most complex construction projects Defence has ever undertaken. Construction officially started today on the Manawatu facility to house the four P-8A Posiden aircraft which will replace the Orion fleet in use since the 1960s.
