As industrial action continues, unionised teachers are refusing to take part in all extra curricular activity around the country today. But union members involved with the national Big Sing event have managed to get around the strikes, securing exemptions that allow them to facilitate their choirs. Rachel Carson is the Northern Ward co-conveynor on the PPTA regional committee, and the Choir Director for the Westlake Girls High School Senior Choir. Rachel joins us now to talk Big Sing and strikes.
