Report on difficult maths exam welcomed by teachers

From Morning Report, 7:50 am on 22 November 2017

A group of more than 30 teachers drafted a letter of complaint to the Qualifications Authority, saying some questions were poorly-worded and beyond students' capabilities. Mr Hipkins says no one wants to see students and their families upset or thinking exams are unfair. Jake Wills is co-head of mathematics at Kapiti College and one of the teachers behind the letter. He tells us the government response is "fantastic".
