Tonight on The Panel, Wallace Chapman is joined by panellists Madison Burgess-Smith and Martin Bosley.

The Panel discusses ongoing reforms designed to crack down on crime including  new offences for people who assault first responders announced over the weekend. They also talk to annoyed Waiwera Valley resident  David Pennington who, along with neighbours, are disgruntled at a council decision to allow the building of a 16.5 metre golden Buddhist statue.

This half hour the panel hears from Graeme Wright, general manager at Barnes Wild Bluff Oysters who have decided to end their season two months early. Plus they talk to Stuart Campbell, a Queensland tradie who started on an expected dance journey that led him to open his own dance studio.

An extra half hour of The Panel with Wallace Chapman. First up is a look ahead to Nights with host Emile Donovan.

Then after hearing some feedback, Wallace is joined by fashion writer Emma Gleason to discuss why the tie is coming back and how (and why) young New Zealanders are hanging bits of fabric around their neck 

Plus we hear from two listeners and their stories about topics discussed in the show.
