One person has died in a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 93/Old Coach Road west of the township of Clinton in South Otago on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to the crash, between Dodds Road and Hurst Road, at around 10.15am.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.
Late Wednesday afternoon, Waka Kotahi Transport Agency said State Highway 93 had reopened after police finished their investigations at the site.
