One person has been killed in a crash in Feilding, Manawatū.
Emergency services were at the scene of the crash, which police said involved a car and a motorbike on Halcombe Road, near Mt Taylor Drive.
A police spokesperson said officers were called to the area about 2:30pm Saturday.
The road was closed for several hours, but by 8pm, police re-opened it to traffic.
Police originally asked motorists to avoid the area.
A St John spokesperson confirmed an ambulance, helicopter and rapid response unit were sent to the crash, but transportation was not neeeded.
