Police have charged two men with the murder of a 29-year-old man in his Te Puke home at the weekend.
Tristan Oakes was shot on Saturday and later died in hospital.
Officers had been searching for two men and had now arrested them and charged them murder.
The two men - aged 39 and 40 - are due to appear in the Tauranga Court on Thursday.
Police thanked the community for their assistance during the investigation.
